is a old character of mine. I made him in the mid 80's.
Originally he was a space musician that was the lead
singer to a Heavy Metal band, from SPACE. He and
the band join the United World Front. He was my
space rocker. To this day I still would want him to
have an interest in music. Specially rock from Earth.
For his costume I changed it around but left the
trench coat. He is pretty much my Superboy of the
GDF world. Although he is just a little bit older then
Superboy.
A QUICK ORIGIN OF Rocker
Not to much is known about Rocker background. He
is one of the few being left from Nav-a-tor. A planet
that was destroyed by Doctor Von Strangle. His older
brother S.A.M. is part of the Galaxy Defense Force.
He followed suit and got assigned to Earth Sector
space. He joined The League to establish
connections with Earth and its inhabitants. To him
Earthlings are petty and barbaric. With the galaxy at
war with much greater threats how can Earthlings be
at war with themselves.
Although he looks human he is far from it. His body is
able to store hyperspace energy within himself. He
can travel through hyperspace without any effects
upon him. Making him one of only a handful of
people that can survive it without a ship to protect him.
Rocker Powers
Rocker powers are identical to S.A.M.s but not as
powerful. At some point in time Rocker will be just as
powerful as S.A.M.
Rockers cellular structure is more dense, resilient
and biologically more effective than human tissue.
Strangely enough, he does not seem to possess
superhuman strength levels despite his enhanced
cellular ability without his cellular structure charged
with hyperspace energy. Without such charging, his
strength seems on par for a human of his height and
weight who engages in regular physical activity. As an
alien he possesses several organs whose functions
are not yet disclosed or understood. Rockers body
also stores energy actively within his body.
Hyperspace Energy Absorption: Technically, this is
the main source of Rockers powers. The exact
magnitude of Rockers strength is unknown.
Invulnerability: Rockers body is highly invulnerable. In
addition, his immune system protects him from all
toxins and diseases. The most common explanations
for his invulnerability are Rocker having a
super-dense molecular structure.
Rockers Stamina and Strength: Rocker has the ability
to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for
an undefined period. Rocker like other Nav-a-tor do
not get tired and does not need to eat or sleep and
can be sustained on Hyperspace energy alone. He
can also hold his breath for an undefined duration.
Flight: Under Earth gravity Rocker is capable of flying
almost at the speed of light. He tends to fly at speeds
of Mach 5 in the atmosphere. His control of his flight
is not perfect and but he can perform aerobatic feats
such as hovering, flying backwards and even lifting
great weights while flying. Rocker has the ability to fly
in outer space. He has been seen to fly to the moon
in under 15 minutes so we can assume that he can fly
faster than that outside of atmospheric interference.
Rocker Speed: Rocker is capable of enhanced reflex
action and the ability to move at incredible speeds by
sheer force of will.
Rocker Hearing: The ability to hear a magnitude of
sounds at different volume and pitch.
Rocker Vision: Rocker has the ability to fire beams of
intense heat at a target by looking at it with the
conscious act of activating this power. Although he
can not keep this up for more then 5 seconds. Using
this power weakens him tremendously. Visually, the
power is typically depicted as two beams of red light
firing from his eyes. He also possess a superior
sensory arrangement of microscopic, telescopic,
infrared and ultraviolet visual capabilities. He is able
to see the entire spectrum.
Hyperspace Transport: He also has the ability to
open gateways to Hyperspace. He is one of the few
beings that can travel through Hyperspace
unharmed. If he pushed himself to his limit he is able
to open a gateway large enough for a small space
ship to pass through.
