Was originally Machine Teen in the old Marvel RPG.
He was created in 1984. So he is literally 25 years old
this year. His original background was a alternate
person as Animal Teen just from a different
dimension.
His Powers have remained exactly the same through
the years. At the core he is who he is. With only minor
changes to his powers.
His Looks on the other hand got ALTERED due to
City of Heroes. BEFORE City of Heroes, he was more
in Skinny CYBORG (The guy from DC) looking guy. I
remember seeing Justice League on Saturday
morning cartoons when they introduced Firestorm
and Cyborg. I thought thats how I want the body for
Machine Teen to look like. His eye piece and head
have always looked like it has though. I always
imagined him with a CYCLOPS eye piece. He has
always had Green armour.
When I turned 21 MACHINE TEEN turned into
MANCHINE. Literally in the RPG's MANCHINE became
a mentor and not a player character. Always helping
new heroes start up there base on Earth.
A QUICK ORIGIN OF MANCHINE
Manchine parents both died weeks before Manchine
got his powers. His mother was an EMT and his
father was a Policemen.
Manchine got his powers from a spaceship that
crashed on Earth Brian saw it and decided to
investigate. After he entered the ship he was
bombarded by radiation. Minutes later the radiation
destroyed his entire nervous system. The ship being
self aware and programmed to save lives, saved
Brian by replacing his nervous system with parts of
itself, it's core. It decided to merge its core
consciousness with Brian's and thus saving his life.
Before too long Brian woke up began to learn how to
wield his new-found powers.
Manchines Powers
Manchine has the ability to absorb any energy except
kinetic energy. He can release the energy in any
form he wishes. Usually kinetic blast which does the
least permanent damage to a living target. The exact
amount of energy Manchine can absorb is unknown.
Manchine can create force fields by absorbing
specific energy that will energize him or repelling
energy of any given area. When Manchine was first
testing his powers he could only produce a force field
that was 25 feet in diameter. He can produce a
bigger force field now as he was told as his body got
use to the metal that is his nervous system his
powers would increase in strength.
Manchine can also fly by causing negative gravity
ions to form under him. This allows him to fly in
space. He can also open hyperspace hole to travel
faster then the speed of light. It is known that
opening a single hyperspace hole takes a lot of
energy out of Manchine.
Manchine also has a vast array of sensors located in
his visor. The computer handles most of the sensor
readings allow Manchine to filter what he wants to use.
